Latzfonser Kreuz – Sarn valley / Eisack valley

Start: from the hotel by minibus at 08.30 o’clock. From Reinswald by chair lift to the mountain station (2130 m)
Route: Gently undulating to the Getrumalm, on to the end of the valley and to the Lücklscharte (2378 m). Slight descent to the refuge of Latzfonser Kreuz (2311 m) with its chapel; break. Return by the same route.
What makes it special: Peak walk with plenty of views, minimal altitude differences
Walking time: Duration in total 4 hours
Altitude difference: approx. 250 m
Level of difficulty: will present no problems for experienced walkers
Return: approx. 17.00 o’clock

Hintergrathütte - Sulden im Vinschgau

Start: from the hotel by minibus at 08.30 o’clock. From Sulden by the “Langenstein” chair lift to the mountain station (2330 m)
Route: from the tavern next to the lift (2330 m) along the Morosini trail, over the moraine of the End-der-Welt glacier, criss-crossing a sheer slope of rocks and boulders to the Hintergradhütte mountain refuge (2661 m) at the foot of the Ortler and the Königsspitze. Stop there, then continuing downwards through rocky and meadow slopes to the halfway station of the new Sulden Cable railway, downward journey to Innersulden.
What makes it special: Marvellous view of the imposing glacial countryside providing unforgettable impressions; the mountains are close enough to touch! With a bit of luck you can see marmots!
Walking time: Duration in total 3 1/2 - 4 hours
Altitude difference: approx. 300 m uphill, approx. 500 m downhill
Level of difficulty: No problem for experienced hikers. The route always follows a steep path, so climbing experience is not necessary. Some parts are somewhat exposed.

Seiser Alm – The Bozen/Bolzano / Eisacktal region

Start: from the hotel by minibus at 08.30 o’clock
Route: With the circular service to Kompatsch on the western edge of the Seiser Alm (1,870 m). From there we head uphill at a steep gradient, passing wooded slopes to the mountain saddle, a somewhat longer alpine ridge. Then we continue along a lightly undulating path to the trade route which climbs slightly as we walk along the edge of the slope to the Mahlknechthütte mountain refuge (2,053 m); break. Afterwards we continue on a wide track downhill in a south-westerly direction, passing the Saltriatal valley and then to Saltria after passing through the woods. We then walk up through wooded slopes to the mountain saddle and then walk almost on a level plan to Kompatsch.
What makes it special: We are on the largest connected alpine pasture in Europe and enjoy wonderful views of the Dolomites.
Walking time: Duration in total 3 1/2 hours
Altitude difference: approx. 380 m
Level of difficulty: easy and leisurely in every respect
Return: approx. 16.30 o’clock
