Lajener Ried - the Ladin gateway to the Eisacktal/Grödental valleys

Round tour from the village square in Lajem (1,102 m), along the picturesque Poststeig path to Tschövas and then on to St. Peter before reaching the Pedrutscher Hof farm (1,262 m); break. We then continue on up to Nuflatsch (1,447 m) and return to Tschövas and Lajen. |

The Zaalwaal above Kortsch - Vinschgau

From Kortsch (800 m) we walk alongside the Waalweg trail to the St. Georg church before continuing to the St. Ägidius church. We return to Kortsch on the same path. |

A very idyllic Waalweg, the ruins of St. Georg church, a magical place with a great view of the Hasenöhrl, on a hill that had already been settled by the year 2,200 B.C. The Ägidius church and lots of Schalensteine (sacrificial boulders) on the wayside. |

The Adolf-Munkel-Weg path – Villnösstal valley

From Zans (1,670 m) along a steep uphill wide forest track to the Glatschalm (1,902 m). From there the path leads uphill through meadows to the Adolf-Munkel-Weg. This path passes along the foot of the Geislerspitzen peaks and is one of the most attractive Panorama Paths in the Alps. Sometimes level, sometimes slightly uphill, the path continues to the Gschnagenhardt alpine pasture with its breath-taking panoramic view (1,996 m); break. We continue along a wide forest path, initially somewhat steep, before heading downhill slightly to the Jägerhütte (hunter's hut) and from there along a level and very pleasant forest path back to Zans. |
