To Eishof in the Pfossen valley (side valley of Schnals valley)

| Route: |
from the car park at the foot of the Vorderkaser (1693 m) along a wide forest path climbing moderately through larch woods to the Mitterkaser and on to the Rableidhof. Continuing almost on the level to the Eishof (2070 m); break. Return to Vorderkaser back along the outward route described. |

The very untouched Pfossental with a view of the glaciers; mostly we catch a glimpse of the odd marmot, too! |

Streitweider Alm – Merano area

| Route: |
from tavern Gasthaus Schnugger (approx. 1300 m) up to the tavern Gasthaus Taser (1450 m). From there, we walk along an almost flat path, with a slight ascent at the end, through meadows and woods to the Streitweider Alm (1560 m); break |

Kohlern – Bolzano area
| Start: |
from the hotel by minibus at 09.30 o’clock |
| Route: |
with the oldest cable railway in the world (now no longer in its original condition, of course!) up to Kohlern (1120 m). From there it’s just a few paces to Bauernkohlern and then a moderate ascent to the upland meadows of the Schneiderwiesen (1372 m). Then we continue up through the woods to a wayside Calvary (1550 m; the highest point on the walk) and from there a brief descent to Klausalm. Continuing gently upwards to the Totes Moos and the Wolftalalm (1340 m); break. Then almost flat on a broad path criss-crossing the wooded slopes to Herrenkohlern and back to Bauernkohlern and the cable railway. |
