The Partschinser Waalweg trail

Start: from the hotel by minibus at 10.00 o’clock
Route: from the village of Partschins (637 m) upwards following a narrow lane, then left to the farm Amesauer Hof and another small ascent to the start of the Waalweg trail (820 m). Then on a level or slightly descending walk along the Waalweg trail to the guesthouse Niedermair; break. Afterwards we walk on, slightly descending, along the orchards to the Algunder Waalweg trail and to the Café Konrad.
What makes it special: On a single tour we walk two very different trails with splendid views of Valvanosia and the Meraner Land
Walking time: Duration in total 3 hours
Altitude difference: approx. 200 m
Level of difficulty: easy and leisurely in every respect
Return: approx. 15.00 o’clock

The Renon plateau above Bolzano

Start: from the hotel by minibus at 09.30 o’clock
Route: from the tavern Gasthof Spögler in Lengmoos (1190 m) above the earth pyramids to Maria Saal, then up to Bad Süss; break. Then on to Tann. This tour offers splendid views of the Dolomites.
What makes it special: the magnificent view and the earth pyramids
Walking time: Duration in total 2 1/2 hours
Altitude difference: approx. 300 m
Level of difficulty: easy and leisurely in every respect
Return: approx. 15.30 o’clock

Albions and Fonteklaus – the Eisack valley (Val Isarco)

Start: from the hotel by minibus at 09.30 o’clock
Route: from Albions (700 m) on a lovely path, slightly undulating through meadows and woods to the mountain retreat Ansitz Fonteklaus; break. From there we descend a steep but short slope and then continue on a gently undulating path to the mountain retreat Ansitz Lusenegg, which belongs to the Lageder family, with an ancient chestnut tree. Finally a short steep ascent to where we started the walk, Albions.
What makes it special: a magnificent view of the Eisack valley, the idyllic village of Albions and an impressive, ancient chestnut tree
Walking time: Duration in total 3 hours
Altitude difference: Final destination and end of the walk are almost at the same altitude; but between them there remains approx. 250 m still to climb
Level of difficulty: The last ascent is somewhat steep, otherwise the walk is easy and leisurely
Return: approx. 15.30 o’clock
